West Hanney

A contemporary new-build development

This project involved taking a residential plot in West Hanney from the initial planning stages through to the completion of a distinctive contemporary family home.

Following the acquisition of the plot, the planning proposals were amended before the project progressed through construction to completion. The aim was to create a well-considered home that combined modern architectural features with materials and detailing that complemented one another throughout.

The finished property brings together traditional red brickwork, contemporary grey cladding and extensive dark-framed glazing. A series of pitched rooflines, carefully positioned windows and generous glazed doors create a strong architectural character, while the spacious paved terrace and landscaped garden provide a natural extension of the living space.

Throughout the project, attention was given to the overall design, the coordination of materials and the quality of the finished details. The result is a substantial modern home that balances distinctive design with the practical requirements of everyday family living.

From progressing the planning amendments through to the completed build, the project demonstrates Park’s Edge Developments’ experience in taking residential schemes from an initial opportunity to a finished property. The development was successfully completed and subsequently sold.
